What is DatabookAI Attachments?
A feature that lets you upload and analyze documents and images (PDFs, JPGs, PNGs, etc.) directly in your conversation with DatabookAI.

How do attachments work?
Upload files during a conversation.
Files are only accessible in the current session.
View uploaded files in the file drawer.
What file types are supported?
.txt, .doc/.docx, .csv, .pdf, .jpg, .png, .ppt, .pptx
What are the upload limits?
Max file size: 50 MB
Max image size: 3.75 MB
Max total per conversation: 100 MB
What happens if a file upload fails?
You'll see an error message.
Remove the failed file to continue.
Can I submit a message while uploading?
No. You must wait until all files are uploaded or remove any that failed.
What do attachments look like in a conversation?
Thumbnails show the file name and type. They’re visible in the thread but not expandable.
Can I share conversations with attachments?
Yes. Shared conversations retain attached files, but others can’t download them—just continue the convo with the same context.
Is this feature always available?
It can be turned on/off for your organization based on security policies.
How do I get started?
Click the file icon to upload.
Ask questions about the content.
Manage attachments from the file drawer.
Any other limits or notes?
Unsupported file types will be rejected with a message.
A tooltip on the upload button reminds you of size limits.
Is my data secure?
Yes. Files are only stored during the session and aren’t shared unless you choose to share the conversation.
