Databook is consolidating into one app. Here's what's changing and what you need to know

What is happening?

The original Databook app (home.databook.com) is being retired. Going forward, everything you need lives in one place: Databook at chat.databook.com.

If you've been using home.databook.com, you may not realize this newer experience has actually been available for a while — it's not brand new, just where Databook is now headed exclusively.

When is this happening?

The original app (home.databook.com) will be deprecated on July 15, 2026. After this date, you'll need to use chat.databook.com to access Databook.

Why is Databook making this change?

We're consolidating to a single, more capable app so you get the full value of Databook in one place, without switching between two products.

How do I sign in to the new Databook app?

1. Go to chat.databook.com

2. Sign in with the same credentials you already use — whether that's single sign-on (SSO) or your email and password.

No new account or setup is required.

Where do I sign up if I don't already have access?

Go to chat.databook.com and sign in with your existing SSO or email and password credentials. If you're not sure whether you have access, contact your Databook admin.

What are the benefits of the new app?

  • Broader account coverage: access significantly more accounts than were available in the original app.

  • Faster account research: one-click prompts help you get to answers without building queries from scratch.

  • Agentic coaches: guided help for common jobs to be done, like prospecting and meeting prep.

  • Everything you already rely on: account overviews and one-click assets are still there, alongside the new capabilities.

In short: it's the same Databook you know, plus a lot more — faster, smarter, and more agentic.

What happens to the setup I've done in the original app (e.g., companies I follow)?

Your existing setup carries over automatically. Companies you've followed and other account setup from the original app will be available in the new app — you don't need to redo anything.
