What is Coach?
A coach is a guided, multi-step AI workflow built for a specific sales motion. Whether you need to prepare for an upcoming meeting, build a targeted prospecting sequence, or construct a Command-of-the-Message narrative, coaches help you execute these motions efficiently. Databook ships a library of base coaches that are pre-built and tested end-to-end.
What is Coach Editor?
Coach Editor allows Admins and Power Users to clone any base coach and customize it. They can rename it, adjust its steps, change the data it pulls in, and reshape its output — all while the original base coach stays live and unaffected for the rest of the organization.
What you can do with it?
Clone and customize base coaches: Instead of starting from scratch, begin with a proven base coach and tailor it to fit your exact process.
Edit using natural language: Using the Composer panel, simply describe the changes you want in plain English. Databook will automatically update the coach's configuration, tasks, or output based on your request.
Add, update, or remove steps: Need to change the workflow? Ask the Composer to add new tasks, remove unnecessary ones, or reorder the sequence of steps your coach walks through.
Change the output: Adjust the tone, structure, or format of what the coach produces—whether you need a written text summary, a formatted document, or a generated slide deck.
Preview before publishing: Test your customized coach exactly as an end-user will experience it to ensure it is perfect before taking it live.
Roll back changes with ease: Every saved version of your coach is stored in its history. If a change doesn't work out, you can restore a previous version.
Who Can Use Coach Editor?
Coach Editor is intended for organizational Admins, Owners, and Power Users (typically in Sales or Revenue Operations) who are responsible for tailoring the AI experience to their team's workflow.
