When your asset is configured and reviewed, you set it live so it can be used, either by you alone or by everyone in your organization.
Saving your work
Changes in SmartTemplate Studio aren't saved automatically, so save before you navigate away.
While you have unsaved changes, a save banner appears at the top of the builder.
If you try to leave the page with unsaved changes, you'll see a warning first, so you don't lose your configuration.
Any asset you haven't set live yet appears in your asset list with a Draft status.
You can save your progress at any time and come back to finish later.
Setting an asset live
When you're ready, select Set live. This opens the Set asset live dialog:
Check the Display name. This is the name people see in the asset list.
Under Set the asset live for, choose who can use the asset.
Select Set live.
Once live, the asset's status changes from Draft to Active in your asset list.

Setting an asset live for yourself is a good way to try it on real accounts before it's rolled out more widely. When an asset is ready to become a standard for your team, a Strategist or Organization Admin can set it live for everyone. To learn more about roles, see User roles in Databook.
You can't currently set an asset live for a specific team, and an asset can only be set live by the person who created it. If you're a Builder and your asset should be available to everyone, your Organization Admin can give you the Strategist role so you can set it live for your organization. The asset stays live for everyone even if your role is changed back afterwards.
Confirmation
After your asset goes live, you'll see a confirmation letting you know it's been published.
Updating an asset later
You can reopen a project in SmartTemplate Studio to update its content or settings, then set it live again.
