Once you've published assets, Asset analytics shows you how they're being used — how many are being generated, who's using them, and the value they're driving. You can use it to track adoption, spot your power users, and see which teams or individuals would benefit from more enablement.
You'll find it under Analytics > Assets Usage
Two ways to view usage
Asset analytics has two tabs so that you can look at adoption from either angle:
View | Answers |
Account View | How are assets being used across my accounts? Which accounts have the most assets, and how does that relate to pipeline? |
Seller View | How are assets being used by my people? Who are my power users, and who is using assets less? |
Headline metrics
Each view shows summary cards at the top:
Card | Shown in | What it tells you |
Total Assets | Account View | The total number of assets generated in the selected period. |
Total Active Users | Seller View | How many people generated at least one asset in the selected period. |
Hours Saved | Both | Estimated time saved by generating assets through Databook rather than creating them manually. |
Total Cost Savings | Both | The estimated financial value of that time saved. |
Top Asset Type | Account View | The most-generated type of asset (for example Executive POV). |
Top Seller | Seller View | The person who has generated the most assets. |
Hours Saved and Total Cost Savings are estimates. [Confirm and document how each is calculated — the in-product info icons indicate a tooltip explanation to mirror here.]
Account View
Account View focuses on usage across your accounts.
Assets by Type — A chart showing how many assets were created over the selected period, broken down by asset type. Useful for seeing which asset types your team relies on most, and how usage trends over time.
Account table — A row per account, with:
Propensity to Buy — Databook's score indicating how likely the account is to buy. [Confirm the score's scale and rating bands, e.g. the colored indicators.]
Total Assets — How many assets have been generated for that account (expand the row for a breakdown by type).
Hours Saved and Cost Savings — The estimated value generated for that account.
Open Pipeline — The open pipeline value associated with the account. [Confirm the source of this figure.]
Sorting the table by total assets next to propensity to buy and open pipeline helps you see whether your highest-value accounts are getting the asset coverage they should.
Seller View
Seller View focuses on usage by individual team members.
Assets by User — A chart showing how many assets each person has generated, broken down by asset type. This makes power users and low-usage individuals easy to spot at a glance.
User table — A row per person, with Total Assets (expand for a breakdown), Hours Saved, and Cost Savings.
Filtering the data
Open Filters to focus on a specific slice of usage. You can filter and sort by:
Filter | What it does |
Sort assets | Changes the order of the results. [Confirm the available sort options.] |
Team | Limits the view to a selected team. |
Users | Searches for and filters to specific people. |
Time segment | Sets the period shown (for example Last 12 months). |
Asset Types | Limits the view to selected asset types. |
Choose your filters and select Apply, or Clear to reset them.
What you can do with it?
Track adoption — See how many assets are being generated and whether usage is growing over time.
Find your power users — Identify the people getting the most value, so you can learn from and recognize them.
Target enablement — Spot teams or individuals with low usage who may need more support to get started.
See what resonates — Understand which asset types your team uses most, to guide what you build next.
Connect usage to value — In Account View, weigh asset usage against propensity to buy and open pipeline to focus effort where it matters most.
